RUST AND THE JOHN DEERE GREEN,
Richard Kent Streeter (singer/songwriter) with his guitar.
___Five original songs for folks who
love close-to-hearts-of-folks-who-love-country-life songs, fresh
off the pen of "The Old Missouri Boy" (transplanted to
the mountains of North Georgia). These songs will make you smell
sweet country air and recall your rural heritage, or wish you had
one.
___Rust
and the John Deere Green recalls the 1946 Model B Streeter
was plowing corn with when he wrote The Old Walkin' Plow.
(The original version is recorded for the first time ever on this
CD.) Empty Memories catches the country boy reminiscing
only to be brought back to reality. Hold Me Tight, Precious
Mountain describes a romantic meeting with a pretty mountain
girl and her song. Who Needs Music Row? Is his answer
to the recently very popular Murder on Music Row. "Country
music is alive and well," Streeter allows. "We Don't Need
Music Row."
