___Gary Waldrep's clawhammer banjo and Sand Mountain, Alabama, fiddle is featured on Ballad of "Deaf Charley" Hanks, Death of Will Geiwitz, The Old Walkin' Plow, Texas and the General and others. Bill Everett's delicate mandolin is on Streeter's A Song for Mother. Tennessee mountain native Peggy Cyree plays bass on all numbers and sings a Glenn Fletcher favorite Memories of the Old Mountain Home as Nellie Branscum's Ozark mountain autoharp and Streeter's "mountain scratch" flat top are reminiscent of The Carter Family styles.
___Larry Bishop's imitation of Bashful Brother Oswald's dobro is on I Want to Hear Those Sad Songs Once More, a tribute to Roy Acuff. Jimmy Driftwood is honored by Streeter's rendition of He Had A Long Chain On and Streeter's own Grandma's Piece of "Driftwood."
